Fine restaurants, wineries and artisan food and beverage producers of the Hudson Valley are gathering to provide a tasting to the general public. People will be able to taste various foods and wines and other beverages.

To raise funds for the Putnam/Northern Westchester Women’s Resource Center, a not for profit organization providing services to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.

Proceeds from this event will be used to provide services to individuals who are victims of or witness to domestic violence and sexual assault.

2003 Caliban Sonoma County Premier Release

Like the Caliban in Shakespeare’s drama, The Tempest, this monster of a wine has a gentle soul. The first whiff reveals notes of cherry, blackberry and even a hint of strawberry. These wonderful forest fruit flavors are intermingled with notes of smoke, espresso roast and grilled meat. This blend of 53 percent Cabernet Sauvignon and 47 percent Merlot is a perfect complement to any hearty meal. We at Prospero hope the joy you experience while drinking this superb wine equals the joy we had in making it.

Guests will enjoyed 4 complementary tastings of 2007 Cremosa Chardonnay, 2003 Caliban (not released yet) 2006 Cabernet Franc and 2008 Moscato. All wines will be paired with delectable food samples.

Cal Blitman, our new winemaker, gave interesting and informitive tours of the winery. In January 2010 we are planning a more intimate affair with our customers to celebrate our 10th year Anniversary, details to be sent out in December.

The Pleasantville Rotary Club is hosting the 9th Annual Westchester Wine Experience. This Event is benefiting local charities. In addition to the Prospero Winery, which is one of the major sponsors of the event, there will be 27 other wineries participating. There will be 22 restaurants and caterers participating. This year's event promises to be another sparkling success! It will be held at the Kessel Campus Center of Pace University, 861 Bedford Road, Pleasantville, NY 10570.

Prospero Winery was invited to take part in the second Italian business owners' networking event Business Italian Style event at The Westchester Italian Cultural Center.

The two-part event wa held at: Club Fit Jefferson Valley Tue., Oct 7, 2008 • 7:00 to 10:00pm. Club Fit Briarcliff Tuesday, Oct 28, 2008 • 7:00 to 10:00pm. Club fit is took on a new challenge this year, we were proud to partner with Friends of Karen and The Sean Kimberling Cancer Foundation to have the 1st Annual Food and Wine Expo. to benefit these worthy organizations.

The events were fundraisers with proceeds going directly to Friends of Karen in Briarcliff and The Sean Kimberling Cancer Foundation at Jefferson Valley. Many of the upscale restaurants and caterers in Westchester agreeded to host a table by preparing their signature dishes for the members to taste. Local Wineries brought wine for tasting with bakeries and chocolate confections that were offered for dessert.

The Expo was be something new and exciting for our 14,000 members who received a personal invitation to attend and had the opportunity to bring their families. These are the people who live, work and shop in our community.

At VINO 100 located at 171 East Post Road VINO 100, White Plains' most exciting wine store experience, will hold a Grand Tasting event. This annual event celebrates VINO 100's anniversary and gives the White Plains community the chance to taste dozens of wines from small, boutique wineries. The event is co-sponsored by The White Plains Times.
